FREE Bereavement Workshops: Every Tues 10am-12noon (starting Tuesday 4th Nov 2025)

Thanks to Lottery Funding we are able to continue to offer bespoke bereavement workshops.  We know the lead up to Christmas can be a tough time for families and hope that if you are feeling strong enough you are able to sign up for these sessions.  

You will make a memory bear (or a Christmas themed project if you have something else in mind - we have had a previous family group make Christmas decorations).  We will work with you to design your bear/project incorporating the garment(s) of your loved one that you bring with you (please note that it will be necessary to cut this garment to create your design).

This is a beginner session and so we assume no previous knowledge and so if possible you should aim to commit to the full 6 weeks to allow enough time to complete your bear/project.  These sessions are designed to suit your needs so please get in touch if you are not able to commit to the full 6 weeks and we can have a chat about what might be possible instead:

Week 1: 4th Nov

Week 2: 11th Nov

Week 3: 18th Nov

Week 4: 25th Nov

Week 5: 2nd Dec

Week 6: 9th Dec

We provide all other materials and no previous experience is required.
